Organisers

During the COVID-19 pandemic I’ve been unable to work at my business and I’ve used a lot of the extra free time I’ve had to work through my 2020 Sewing List. I got Stitched Sewing Organisers by Aneela Hoey last year and I used one of the patterns to make this sewing organiser for my best friend’s daughter.

The fabric is cute and works well for this project. I find zips tricky but there were clear instructions on how to insert them in the book.

I got this pattern for the Jot it Down organiser from Quilts and More magazine. It’s by Heidi Staples (Fabric Mutt).

It was enjoyable using some of my fabric stash which was from one of my favourite stores, The Eternal Maker.

It’s been a relief and a joy for me to be able to sew and make during these different times. It’s been challenging and difficult for so many.
