Tea Pouches
Tea pouches have been my go-to small gift to make for friends for a while. Ayumi Takahashi‘s pattern is ingenious and fun to sew.
I made a parliament of owl tea pouches (love a collective noun me!).
I recently visited Eternal Maker in Chichester, a wonderful fabric shop, and purchased some adorable ballet material off-cuts. I started taking an adult beginners ballet class a couple of years ago. I made myself a cute ballerina tea pouch and a Swan Lake one which I will give away. It has a great mother-of-pearl star button. Just leave a comment and I will pick a name out of a hat.
This is Ayumi Takehashi’s (Ayumi Mills) excellent book Patchwork Please. It has patterns for some lovely Zakka projects.
I have quite a collection of complimentary teabags which I (and my Mum, thank you xx) have collected, already to insert in to a tea pouch.
Leave a comment for the chance to get a Swan Lake tea pouch :0)
Love Melanie Xx
