Mother’s Day Baking
Haven’t baked for a while as most of the residents of my home have been training and watching their intake of refined carbs! I missed baking and decided to add some baked goods to my Mother’s Day gifts for my Mum and Mother-in-Law this year. I made my Mother-in-Law Nigella’s chocolate cheesecake from ‘How to be a Domestic Goddess’. The aroma as it came out of the oven was divine.

One of the core beliefs I live by is that everything can be improved with Cellophane.
I made my Mum chocolate shortcakes with a peanut butter filling from ‘Home Sweet Home’ by the Hummingbird Bakery.
The first time I’ve made an American shortcake.
