Melanie Makes Meringues Happy Valentine’s Day!
We had so much fun this Valentine’s Day. I am having a giveaway on facebook every month this year and this month I gave away a cream tea at our house.
I made the marshmallow cupcakes from the Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook. They were very pink and glittery.
And Nigella’s old-fashioned chocolate cake which is a sour cream chocolate cake. It’s covered in Hershey’s kisses and three heart shaped sparklers which I eventually managed to light with some persistence.
Scones, of course. I used the Mary Berry recipe and they were nice and light. We had Bon Maman strawberry preserves and Cornish clotted cream. Mmmmmmm
