Melanie Makes Meringues Hummingbird Cake
Wow, look at this big boy!
I made my parents a traditional hummingbird cake for their Cake of the Month Club. I’m still a little behind as it is cake #11. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of a slice of hummingbird cake it is a little like carrot cake but the moisture is supplied by pineapple and banana. It also contains pecan nuts.
And it has cream cheese frosting…….Mmmmm……..
